2009 EMFC/EMCC Football time is at hand for the English Mountain Conference and the Officers, Football Directors and Cheerleading Directors want to welcome all participants and fans. This conference was established over 40 years ago and has been a mainstay for boys and girls looking for an opportunity to have some fun , exercise and learn team responsibilities. It is our responsibility as officers, directors, coaches and parents to make sure that these children have a safe environment to play in. As adults we need to make a concerted effort to show the utmost sportsmanship. The best memory a participating child can have is that they were supported by fans who care about them. It is hard for me to say that it doesn't matter who wins for if that were the case we would not keep score, however competition is inevitable and although the score board reflects a winner and loser all these kids are winners . They will have put in endless hours of practice and preparation. Parents encourage not only your kids but all their team mates. The EMFC/EMCC wants to hear from you. Send us an email. Jamboree is only a week away and it is a hectic and stressful time for directors and coaches. Parents please show some patience as problems and delays always seem to arise no matter how much planning is put forth. PS Please volunteer in some manner to help your community.
